Passion Respect Integrity Diversity Empathy
We looked at the learner disposition posters and broke them down into what they mean for us:Resilient - We never give up!
Resourceful - We use different tools to help us with our learning!
Reciprocal - We listen and work together!
Reflective - We think about what we are learning and how we are going to be successful!
We worked in groups to create a maze. We found out that the maze took longer to get from the start to the finish when we worked as a team which is the same as being reciprocal.
This group started making a maze and changed it so it would be more challenging to get out of the maze.
This group used felt pens and attempted to make a maze that would have a start and a finish.
This group used dominos and also altered their maze so it had more corners making it longer.
This group were the best at working together to create a long challenging maze. It took 1:46 seconds for the marble to get from the start to the finish!
We worked together and did some reciprocal writing.
Aimee and Annabelle chose to present their writing on coloured paper with felt tips.
Ben W and Nate chose to present their writing on the computer. Great typing practise boys!
We have been spending some time reflecting on how we have been showing these at school.
"We are being resilient when we are writing," said Grace and Hannah.
"We are being reciprocal when we work together doing our reading games," Said Ben and William.
"I am being resourceful when I use the word and ABC cards,"said Lucia.
Liam, Reilly, William and Nate have been trying to be resilient when something is hard.
Liam said "I am resilient when I am doing my letters."
Ben said "I help other people."
Amelia, Lucia, Brooke, Lucie and Paige have been working on being resourceful.
Lucia said "I use the ABC and word cards to help with my writing."
Grace said "I need to remember to say the sounds when I am Reading."
